CLIENT
Alternatives For Girls (AFG) is a Detroit-based nonprofit serving homeless and high-risk girls and young women. Since 1987, AFG has provided safe shelter, street outreach and educational support, vocational guidance, mentoring, prevention activities, and counseling.
OBJECTIVE
Live stream AFG's ask event with the goals of one, creating the feeling of the annual in person event at home and two, achieving the same agressive fundraising goal at the virtual event.
PROCESS
Three Lyons Creative (3LC) utilized a mix of pre-recorded interviews and live filming to create a full and engaging ask event.
OUTCOME
The event raised over $24,000 during the livestream and donations continued to come in through the night. The virtual event was a huge success and Three Lyons Creative was asked back to livestream the event in 2021.
