Riverwise Magazine is a community focused publication that tells people centered stories of social justice in the city of Detroit. We are a multi-generational, intersectional, diverse group of activists, advocates and community organIzers who work to bring about the values of building beloved community and enhancing equity and equality in all of our lives.

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the 3LC Thanksgiving Contest for the sixth year! ​Every Thanksgiving season we are moved by the small businesses and non-profits in Metro-Detroit who dedicate their work to supporting, empowering, advocating for, and working with the community all year round.

ENTERING THE CONTEST
Entering is easy, simply fill out the form by clicking "Enter the Contest" below and share your organization's information and respond to this year's reflection question:

How does your organization commit to a positive social impact?

​The panel will select one winning organization based upon the qualifying criteria:
  • Clarity of response
  • Passion portrayed in reflection
  • Impact of proposed video prize

PRIZE
One hour livestream with lower thirds and title graphic included. Stream will include professional audio, lighting, and video, up to two cameras. Will stream to platform of your choice.. The prize is valued at $3,500. ​​
TIMELINE
Contest begins Saturday, November 13, 2020 at 8 a.m. and ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
