3LC seeks a part-time Marketing Coordinator to work with our team to create and execute new business development, social media strategies, web updates, and promotional material. The ideal candidate will have aligned values, an interest in following social justice news, excellent proofreading skills, and confidence carrying out creative ideas. Candidates must live in the Detroit area. At this time due to COVID-19, this position will primarily work remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Business Lead Development: engage with local and national non-profits, museums, colleges, and other community organizations, and create and execute project pitches
- Web Updates: update project pages and plan updates as part 3LC’s brand refresh
- Social Media: plan regular posts for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
- Promotional Materials: develop marketing and new business materials as needed
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong writer
- Comfortable cold emailing and calling
- Ability to navigate spreadsheets to build leads and track progress
- Knowledge and experience with video production and creative services
- Experience working in new business development or sales
- Familiar with Hootsuite and InDesign
- Self-motivated and organized
- Ability to anticipate projects and execute detailed plans
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- History with the local and national nonprofit networks
- Experience with Photoshop, photography, and/or video editing
- Tapped into social justice movements and able to articulate support
- Experience writing and pitching press releases
